Colon Cleansing Soups

Colon cleansing can be achieved with a body cleansing diet.  If you want to perform a colon cleanse, you don’t have to start with chemicals or herbal treatments.  The best thing you can do to keep your colon clean is to use a colon cleanse diet.  That may sound imposing, but it is simpler than you may think

The first key to a colon cleansing diet is the consumption of fiber.  That does not mean you have to eat tasteless bran cereal for breakfast and a plate full of celery for lunch.  Many foods with fiber are tasty and alluring.  Natural colon cleansing can be achieved by taking a boring iceberg salad and adding a variety of crunchy vegetables and some toasted walnuts.   A homemade cleansing soup can be altered to fit your own tastes.  Perhaps you would like a soup thick with vegetables and barley.  If you love chicken soup, consider adding lentils instead of pasta.  Colon cleanses don’t have to taste disgusting.

Another natural colon cleanse is the consumption of plenty of fluids.  Increase the amount of pure water and add herbal tea and other hydrating fluids.
A natural colon cleanse recipe will not be effective if you cook it in the wrong kind of fats.  A healthy fish or crisp vegetable cooked in bacon fat will not qualify it as a homemade colon cleanse recipe.  By increasing your intake of healthy oils and fats, you will support your colon and provide your body with nutrients that help provide for healing.  This type of lubrication can ease digestion without ‘clogging’ it or causing problems for your heart health.  Your digestion can be aided with supplements of flax seed oil or fish oil.  Omega 3 fatty acids found in many types of fish, such a salmon are reported to provide health benefits as well as aiding digestion.

Cut out the refined flours and sugars that promote parasitic growth and bacterial imbalances in your bowels.  Colon cleansing recipes can substitute whole grains for refined flour and canola oil for shortening.  By eliminating these foods, such as chips, crackers, and sweets, you can keep your bowels moving instead of packing them with foods that are difficult to digest.  If you want to be sure that you are rid of parasites and ‘bad’ bacteria, add some essential oils, such as rosemary, to your diet in a carrier oil.  If you like bread and butter, you can try whole grain bread dipped in a nice olive oil with edible essential oils of lemon.  This flavorful and chic combination provides fiber, ‘good’ fats, and an essential oil known to keep parasites at bay.

Colon cleanse recipes can be adapted for almost every type of food.  For example, Chinese food and Cuban food rely heavily on rice.  By substituting brown rice in your regular recipes, you can retain the flavors you love without putting unnecessary strain on your colon.  If you have tried cheap brown rice before you may hesitate to use it again.  However, there are some extremely flavorful types of brown rice that can taste better than white rice.  Basmatti brown rice and jasmine brown rice look and taste great and create a nutty smell in your kitchen.  You can combine your brown rice with red and black rice or throw in a handful of lentils or dahl to create flavor and texture that you will love.  A colon cleansing diet recipe should be something you really like and that is easy to fit into your own lifestyle so that it can be a life change rather than a diet doomed for failure.

An easy colon cleanse at home recipe is made with lemons.  Combine fresh squeezed lemon juice with water, a natural sweetener (organic honey or syrup), and a pinch of cayenne pepper.  This lemon colon cleansing diet provides a colon flush.

Colon cleanse tea is a great way to perform a bowel cleanse safely as a part of your regular diet.  There are many herbs that target the colon, such as slippery elm.  It can also be helpful to drink soothing teas like chamomile because stress can also affect your digestion.  Another advantage of drinking herbal teas is that they provide a homemade colon detox.  Burdock root also helps with colon detoxification.

If you want to know how to cleanse your colon, take a look in your cupboards and refrigerator.  A colon cleanse at home using special products or a commercial colon cleanser will not be effective if you do not alter bad eating habits.
